Human Engineering is about applying fundemenatal principles to develop intelligent training programs for people of all levels based off of their specific goals, resources, and objectives.
Human Engineering Principles
1. Every part of the system needs to be considered. A partial analysis leads to partial results. The key is in managing the interactions between the components rather than mastering only 1 component
2. Consistency is king, but structure is the key to establishing consistency, and consistency gives us quality data to improve structure
3. Perfect is not good enough when it comes too late, good enough right now is the best plan. Results come from action, not planning.
4. Everything can be explained logically with F=ma : EVERYTHING
5. Feelings and intuition are important, but only as an indicator or the need to find new information
Trevor has been coaching since leaving the Canadian Forces in 2013. Starting with yoga and functional fitness, he progressed into doing sports specific physical preparation, particularly for endurance sports and general health/ fitness. He combines his coaching knowledge and experience with his engineering education to make the most efficient plans his clients.
His approach is very methodical and universally applicable to any objective or training level. His ability to absorb enormous amounts of information and actors is key to integrate everything into a coherent training plan. This becomes even more applicable or athletes that want to find balance between multiple objectives and interest, or sports which must take multiple elements into account.
